Christmas 2021...

This year we've added to our range of gifts and household items from Shared Earth, a Fairtrade company based in York.  All Shared Earth products are sustainably sourced, fairly traded and have zero-carbon shipping.  According to Ethical Consumer magazine they are one of the top ethical online retailers.

We have obtained some lovely Christmas stock from them, like the beautiful embroidered and papier mâché tree decorations...


There are also very attractive little gift selection boxes of incense sticks, Guatemalan worry dolls, colourful rag rugs...

... as well as lots and lots of rainbow bowls, jugs, plates, cups and teapots for your kitchen (see images below).  Plus beautiful rainbow mosaic mirrors and large decorative bowls, little wooden cats (and dogs) on sofas, and so much more!  And all fair trade – so an even nicer present.  Best to come into the shop if you can and have a browse.

We will also be stocking a very healthy range of Booja Booja chocolate!  We ran out last year so have got extra supplies in early this time.  Plus lots of other chocolate, of course.

Or how about a locally hand-made candle, for Solstice or Christmas?  These are quality vegan candles in beautiful ceramic pots handmade locally by Sara from Rooted Christmas trees.  The big three-wick candles (above) are exclusive to us and the lovely ceramic pot can be refilled when empty for a £1 returnable deposit.  They are made using offcuts of the Christmas trees, and smell really nice.  They're totally vegan and plastic free, and come in a gift box.  The smaller pair of candles are labelled 'Dusk' and 'Dawn', and are really attractive in their own gift box – again vegan and plastic free.  And they all smell gorgeous!
